Weekend racing clinic and regatta on Lake Monona with David Ames and Ryan Malmgren.  The goal is to get in lots of racing, improve, and have fun!

RACING FORMAT: Lots of short courses.  Windward-leeward twice around with windward offsets and leeward gates.  Target race time: 30 minutes.  Coaches allowed onboard during races.  Coaching allowed from coach boats during racing. Crew substitutions allowed. 

• FRIDAY: Rigging/Tuning Clinc followed by practice drills, races, coaching, debrief.  Evening party at University of Wisconsin Hoofers Sailing Club, Memorial Union Terrace, Lake Mendota. Friday Only Registration Option Just Added!
• SATURDAY: Racing followed by evening party and debrief.
• SUNDAY: Racing followed by RAFFLE and AWARDS.  No start after 1400.

VENUE: Regatta Headquarters at Olbrich Park, 3527 Atwood Ave, Madison, WI 53714.  Three piers with six launch lanes.  Parking reserved for first 20 out-of-town trailers/vehicles; additional parking spots available.

ENTRY FEE: $125 per boat LMSC Member; $150 per boat others.  Extra social/meal passes available for purchase with registration.

INCLUDED: Ramp/launch/parking fees, social/meal passes for skipper and one crew, continental breakfasts, box lunches, complimentary raffle ticket, Fri/Sat dinner parties, race clinic/coaching, awards. Wisconsin Cheese (courtesy of the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin). Beer available for purchase at the Memorial Union Terrace on Friday evening and at the Olbrich Park Biergarten following racing.  Beer and wine provided at the Sat evening social event.

CLINIGATTA RAFFLE: Flying Scot Fleet Grand Prize - New Mad Sails Flying Scot Race Jib (The catch: The winner must pass their current best jib on to the skipper in the fleet with the oldest newest jib in the fleet).  Grand Prize - refund of regatta entry fee.  Other prizes: West Marine gift certificate, WiscoBoys Polarized Sunglasses, ImagesPlus large format photo of your boat, David Ames coaching session, Jerry's Camping Center merchandise, Wisconsin Cheese, and more!  Extra raffle tickets awarded for most-improved, worst luck, dailiy winners, and more at the discretion of the all powerful all knowing Organizing Authority Syndicate!  Raffle tickets also available for purchase at the event.

HOUSING: Provided at LMSC members' homes on a first come basis.  Camping available at Mad Sails and the Jim Colegrove Estate.

PRIVATE OR SEMI-PRIVATE COACHING (THURSDAY): Sessions available with David Ames on Thursday for an extra hourly charge.
